"PACIFIC NW MARINE LIFE IDENTIFCATION" is the answer to your fantasies!! The course is designed to introduce you to many of the creatures that inhabit our beautiful marine environment.
Why learn to identify marine life?
Increase each dive experience by identifying what you are seeing. Understand when, where and how to find different marine life local to the Pacific Northwest. Stop passing octopus dens, lumpsuckers and kelp eating tank creatures
What will I do?
Learn to locate these creatures and plants as well as what they eat, what eats them, how many of them reproduce and how they attack or defend themselves from other marine creatures.
If you are looking for an "Art Show", this isn’t it!! The Stars of this show are in their natural environment and in many cases require you to search them out. Why? Because many of them have mastered the Klingon cloaking technology!
How long will it take?
4 interactive slide show presentations and 2 open water dives over 1 day.
What do I need to start?
- PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water
- Minimum age: 10
- Non-Divers welcome for non-diving activities

Become a Master Scuba Diver?
Show off your training and knowledge by receiving the Master Scuba Diver certification. This is the highest recreational diver level in the PADI system of diver education. It indicates you have received a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments. Completing this specialty brings you one step closer to achieving this sought after certification.
